• What is LPG?

LPG stands for Liquefied Petroleum Gas, a combination of Propane and Butane in certain ratio. LPG is a cleaner fuel that has a range of properties closest to Gasoline (Octane). LPG is the third most popular automotive fuel in the world, mostly used in the European Countries and South Korea.
  • Is LPG Safe?

LPG has an excellent safety record throughout the world. The storing pressure of LPG is around 10 bar whereas CNG is stored at around 200 bar pressure. Given that all standard (67R-01) safety measures are taken, there is no explosion record of LPG tanks across the globe.
  • How much does LPG save over Octane?

LPG Price varies, Government revises the rate in every month based on the price in the international market. Considering current rates of LPG (57.41/Ltr) and Octane (130/Ltr), a Sequential Injection LPG system saves more than 50% of driving cost over octane.
  • What would be the mileage on LPG?

LPG mileage depends on the diving conditions and vehicle type. On an average, any genuine sequential injection LPG system gives around 95% of the mileage that octane would give.
  • Can LPG damage the engine?

No, on the contrary it will increase the life of engine. LPG ensures better combustion inside the engine and results in lower carbon & sulfur deposition then our regular gasoline.
  • What are the available LPG Conversion Systems?

                1.        Traditional System:   Very old technology, suitable for Carburetor engines.

                2.    Sequential Injection System:   Latest technology for EFI and MPI engines.

                3.    Direct Injection System:   Suitable for Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engines

  • What is the mostly used LPG Conversion System?

Most of the latest cars running on the road are with Multi Point Fuel Injection (MPI) engines. The latest technology compatible with this MPI engine is the Sequential Injection LPG System. Still we have few old cars with EFI fuel technology (before 2000), those are also effective with Sequential Injection System.
  • What is the recommended LPG Conversion System for GDI engines?

We have a good number of GDI engines in the market and in recent times this number is increasing. For example, Nissan X-Trail (T32), Honda Vezel, MG HS, Mazda Skyactive engines are available GDI engines in our market. The recommended LPG system for these GDI engines is Direct Injection LPG Conversion.
